The focus of this site is educational, aimed specifically at journalists working at weekly and small daily newspapers. Even college and high school journalists could benefit from our design lessons. (If we move from a critique to full redesign work, the cost of the critique will be deducted from the consultation fee.)

We can even work with you as you plan that special presentation, issue or even page. Our turnaround can be in hours, if you need last-minute help. How? Using free software, we can access your computer and show you on your own screen how to do what you want.

Finally, we offer complete redesign consulting for your paper, which usually can be done without a visit, to save costs. We listen to you, learn your vision for the paper and who your readers are, and then we show you how to create the product you want, i.e., we provide mockups for you to copy.
