The people at News Design School LLC are a mix of veterans and talented youngsters. The principle owner is Bob Bohle, currently a journalism professor and formerly a professional journalist. He has been a consultant, workshop leader and speaker on newspaper design, web site design and typography for more than 20 years. He has written two books and more than 100 articles, some of which have been cited by authors on four continents.

He has specialized in weekly and small daily newspaper design (professional papers, as well as college newspapers and even high school newspapers), and many of his projects have led to state-wide and national awards for the papers. Before focusing on journalism education, he was a regular speaker at the American Press Institute, The Poynter Institute, Inland Press Association, Southern Newspaper Publishers Association, and many state press associations. With his professional newspaper design work, college newspaper advising and high school journalism teaching experience, he offers significant expertise to News Design School.
